Visit a woodland through music! These 12 piano miniatures portray a scenic wood and its diverse wildlife – from a beautiful sunrise to galloping deer, from dancing butterflies to a dotty toadstool. This collection is a sequel to A Musical Year (Goodmusic GM473) and A Musical Journey (Goodmusic GM480); several of the pieces in A Musical Woodland are a little easier, and so should be accessible to players of early to mid-intermediate ability. I hope that the miniatures will be enjoyable to learn and will also provide practice in a range of styles and techniques.
