The Snow lies thick – winning entry in the Sir David Willcocks Carol Competition 2018

This Carol was performed by The Bach Choir at Cadogan Hall.  ‘The Snow lies thick’ is published by Goodmusic Publishing.

For unaccompanied mixed voice choir with solos. Words by Selwyn Image (1849-1930).

Review of The Snow lies thick in the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM)’s Church Music Quarterly:

‘An attractively lilting tune is treated with considerable invention over the six verses with a variety of solos and canonic effects, always inspired by the words that invite us to contemplate ‘this very God, who lays his head so low for our salvation’.’
